How could we let Donald Trump become president of the United States not once but twice? ... Because those that voted for him were (and still are) manipulated by the propaganda he and his media servants spew day after day. This is the biggest problem facing America today and with AI it is getting worse by the day. The first amendment is not meant to protect against propaganda. The dangerousness of this cannot be understated. The hate and threats of violence are out of control and can all be linked to Trump's own words. It is truly outrageous that America and the rest of the world is in this situation all because Trump exploited people with his propaganda.

Propaganda is the systematic spreading of biased or misleading information to shape public opinion, promote a political cause, or influence how people act. It uses strong emotions like fear, pride, or anger instead of clear logic.
By definition, this type of political propaganda should not be protected by the first amendment. Until Donald Trump came along America didn't really need to worry about protecting its citizens from propaganda. Politicians of all political parties generally played by the rules. He straight out lies and we can do nothing about it?
Hitler defined propaganda as such: propaganda is not meant to be used on scientifically trained individuals because, as propaganda is not logical, rational, or scientific, the intellectuals will not be swayed by it. Rather, he said, propaganda is meant for the “masses” who cannot comprehend logic and intellect but can be convinced of anything if their emotions are manipulated. Hitler further stated that since the masses have little intelligence and are quite forgetful, the key to propaganda is to keep repeating the same ideas over and over again until they are understood by and engraved on the mind of even the slowest person.
A sad reality for all of us. For those manipulated by Trump's propaganda and for those that can't understand why anyone in their right mind would support him. Even those Republican politicians that have no choice to support him (to stay in power) all have condemned and/or denounced him in the past.
Trump and his supporters use the term Trump Derangement Syndrome for anyone that does not support him. The reality is that they have it backwards - Trump Derangement Syndrome should be used as the term for his supporters that don't see, care or understand that they are being manipulated. No one wants to feel like a fool. But how do we get the message across to them?
