A look and the Recent Past

Propaganda created the situation we are in today. Trump supporters need to know what has happened to them. They don't want to be told that they are wrong about him but perhaps if they understood the psychological consequences of the propaganda and supposed "truths" he and his media servants provided (and still provide) to create this "never before seen" political division in our country.

Because of the current disastrous economy, stupid war in Iran, financial cuts to healthcare (not just in America, but around the world), and other consequences too numerous to list, there are finally some Trump voters who are changing their mind about him. The absolutely appalling behavior, corruption and constitutional disregard is now persuading some to regret voting for him. We should not have let this happen in the first place. The rest of us (non-Trump supporters) new this was going to happen. We found it impossible to explain to them that he is a complete fraud. The power of propaganda is just too strong and the other elected Republicans and Judges are letting this happen even though they know in their hearts it is tearing our great country apart.

Below are a few of the things that Trump supporters somehow justify in their warped minds:

  • President Trump suggested letting Iran attack Los Angeles and San Diego. The President said this to an audience in Nebraska - and they cheered! This sickness must end. Some poor sole can post a random picture of shells spelling out 8647 and be prosecuted by the government while the President suggests he wouldn't mind if two United States cities were bombed by a foreign country. This is why historians will remember how this evil propaganda marks the darkest time in modern American history.

  • Trump: “We will defeat the communists and that’s what they are. They’re not socialists, they’re not Democrats, they’re communists.” “Together we will defeat communism, socialism and Marxism in America”. What? The reality that no President has ever come closer to communism than Trump. His administration has taken equity stakes in more than 30 private companies. As for Marxism - Trump lives by exploiting the lower classes (especially his followers) to increase the wealth of himself and his wealthy friends.

  • This war with the Media. Banning CNN, MS NOW and Politico from the White House for reporting what he calls “Fake News”. Has anyone questioned what reporting he a referring to? These news outlets tell it like it is and that is his problem. To report that he is the worst president ever is not “fake news” - it is the truth. The tragedy is that he president at all. The 34% that still remain loyal to him have fallen for his rhetoric and deceitful propaganda.

  • Even Murdoch has changed his mind on Trump. His own flagship paper wrote: “You don’t suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome, or TDS, to be revolted by President Trump’s monumental vandalisation of our beautiful capital” - “his truckling with malign dictators that play him for a fool; the unashamed self-adulation; enrichment of himself and his family; the bullying and blustering his efforts to undermine Constitutional guardrails on the extent of executive power, and his assault on the electoral process…”

  • Trump still says that his victory was “stolen” from him in 2020 because widespread fraud occurred. Repeated audits and recounts (at taxpayer expense) found no significant fraud in the presidential election, and Trump’s own administration said the election was clean. Why do so many still believe him?… Because of his deceitful propaganda. How can we just sit back and his lies affect so many? Because it is the Republican Party?

  • Even the newly launched White House AI website had to be modified to answer the questions: who won the 2020 election?, the name of federal department that runs the Pentagon?, was Trump impeached?, was Trump convicted of a felony? - Trump and his “yes-people” configured the AI to respond to these questions with: it couldn’t answer “political questions”. The true answers to these questions needed to be suppressed because they don’t match his propaganda.

  • Trump: “Your going to lose your border, you’re going to lose your tax cuts. You’re going to lose your safety and security. You’re going to lose your wealth”. Obvious fear mongering that should not be said by any politician let alone the president of the United States.

  • The Trump administration told a federal appeals court that barring his name being added to the Kennedy Center would be an “existential” threat to the building because only he has the expertise and fundraising potential to save the venue. Of course, we all know the truth. The Kennedy Center would have no problem making necessary repairs if he hadn’t installed himself as the chairman and replaced all the board members with more “yes-people”. As soon as he decided to put his own name (which is hard to believe - a sitting president adding his name to a cultural center dedicated to another president) on the building. Once that happened most of the artists scheduled to perform canceled. The center is only losing money because of Trump.

  • Trump: “the Final Battle” he will “demolish the deep state” - “throw off the political class that hates our country” - “We will route the fake news media and liberate America from these villains once and for all”. Serious propaganda only meant to promote hate, fear and confusion. To be clear - currently, the political class that hates our country are Trump supporters. We can’t say it is the Republican Party because true republicans (unless part of congress or the Supreme Court) are not Trump supporters. The reality is that Trump supporters are the RINOS.

  • Trump’s tariffs raised the price of lumber, steel, appliances and other building materials adding an estimated $11,000 to the cost of a typical home. The immigration crackdown has worsened a construction worker shortage, while his war with Iran has drastically increased energy prices, inflation and mortgage rates. And at the same time, his administration the Department of Housing and Urban Development staff and housing grants and proposed deep cuts to programs that help communities finance affordable homes. Who thinks any of this is a good thing?

  • The astounding hypocrisy of this Trump administration. Blanche: “At some point, complete misinformation and inaccuracy of one-sided news of certain organizations does become a national security issue”. This statement is a response to news outlets reporting the truth instead of the lies and misinformation (propaganda) of the Trump administration.

  • How can his supporters not see the real Trump? That’s how powerful and dangerous his political propaganda remains. Is he a “man of the people”? For some reason his supporters thought he would help the economy and drive down prices. How did they get that idea? The rest of us see the obvious: Trump is only looking out for Trump. Tariffs have raised the prices on everything. He is total disrespecting our northern neighbor without earning any respect in return. Started a war of choice with Iran that sees no end - one day he vows to annihilate them, the next offers negotiation. The energy costs for Americans because of this war have skyrocketed and with winter almost upon us most will have a difficult time staying warm these next few months. He created this situation and doesn’t seem to care at all. As he says, we have never had it better - we are in the Golden Age of America. So solutions or apologies. More focused on vanity projects with putting his name or face on anything he can get away with: buildings, passports, coins, banners, TV adds and more - all at taxpayer expense. All this because we let his deceitful propaganda slide.

  • How many Trump voters have come forward to say they were “hoodwinked” with broken promises, broken expectations. They would have never voted for him if they hadn’t fell for the onslaught of propaganda he and the Republican Party dispersed prior to the 2016, 2020 and 2024 elections.

  • Trump grades his second term as an “A+”. On the government, on economics, on everything. How can anyone believe anything he says? He says the poll numbers that show him a historically unpopular are “fake numbers”. The pollsters are corrupt - he is “actually doing very well.”

  • Trump "sometimes" does and sometimes does not want to be compared to Hitler. There has been no other person in the last century that has many of the same qualities and lust for power as Hitler. Some would say that Trump is the next “Anti-Christ”. It is hard to argue that he is not. His trampling of the Constitution, his self enrichment schemes, his use of the law enforcement on US soil and military on foreign soil, and his desire to completely take over other countries. At times he has insisted that Greenland, Iceland, Venezuela and Canada could become the 51st state of the United States. How can he not be compared to Hitler - and not in a good way if there is one.

  • Trump is the most corrupt president in American history - period. Propaganda allowed this to happen.

  • rump calls himself the greatest president in the history of the United States. Himself! He is without a doubt the most embarrassing and egotistical president in American history.

  • Trump: “The Dumocrats will vote in Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C. and pickup 4 Senators, 8 Congressmen/women, tremendous numbers of Popular and Electoral Votes and, importantly control Voting Mechanisms and Systems, both Legal and otherwise, throughout the Unites States”. “It will be impossible for Republicans to ever win an Election again. In other words, it will be THE END OF AMERICA!” The Republican Party is the political party that is trying very hard to “fix” the elections in their favor. Even cheat and “fight like hell” after the election to try and take over the Presidency. Astonishing how much influence propaganda has on the “masses” when an insurrection doesn’t move the needle.

  • On November 3rd, almost 200 election deniers will be on the ballot across the country. Many of them have repeatedly undermined the very process they are participating in, and they will be looking to win some of the most powerful elected positions in the country - positions that would help determine how voting goes in future elections. Does anyone realize how dangerous propaganda is? Trump’s “big lie” about the 2020 election is wreaking havoc on our democracy.

  • Trump asked his supporters at the Republican convention in Dallas to pledge that they would “cheat like hell” because, he said. Democrats routinely cheat in elections. This is the President of the United States telling people to cheat in elections. Trump not only needs to be removed from office, but jailed and assets seized.

  • Trump’s Executive Order 14253, “Restoring truth and sanity to American History”. Ordered park rangers to review all signs, brochures, books and films for content that “inappropriately disparages” Americans by suggesting that the United States was “inherently racist, sexist or oppressive”. This resulted in sign changes and removals all across the US, most of them related to slavery, Indigenous history and the climate crisis. All this happening at the same time Trump’s immigration crack-down was targeting anyone that looked “like a foreign alien” - and the Supreme Court said sure, racial profiling is okay. It’s a fact that more than 70% of those taken into custody were not criminals, many were American citizens or valid card holders with the right to be in the US. Trump has bragged about the support he received in the last election from the black and Hispanic communities. This is how their support is rewarded - by being harshly targeted and rendered historically insignificant. Why did they support him? Because his propaganda told these people that only he would look out for them and not the democrats.

  • Trump wrote “The only control or ‘guardrails’ that AI needs is a STRONG AND SMART (High IQ!) PRESIDENT, and the U.S.A. has that, in spades”. WOW. This is a good example of why this time in history will be remembered by how never before used political propaganda resulted in the most embarrassing and corrupt administration in the history of America.

  • Another remarkable hypocrisy is Trump writing “The (Supreme) Court’s inability and unwillingness to do the right thing for our Country will go down, in a very negative way, in the annals of History.” “This Supreme Court is bullied and cajoled by the Radical Left into making decisions that have set America back at least a hundred years.” The sad truth is that he is correct. America has been set back by the Supreme Court. Not bullied by the “Radical Left”, but by Trump himself. The supposedly impartial Supreme Court Justices have allowed a criminal to go unchecked resulting in the greatest threat to our democracy in history.

  • Trump called climate change a hoax. His E.P.A. has eliminated greenhouse gas standards for car tailpipes and eased restrictions on planet-warming chemicals used air-conditioners, refrigerators and power plants. He also repealed the scientific determination that gave it the legal authority to create climate regulations in the first place. Not only is he ruining America, but he is ruining our planet. Why? Because he wants him and his billionaire friends to make even more money while everyone else in the world suffers.
